Behold that Star - Sunday 4 January 2009 at 7.30pm at Holy Trinity Church, Chrishall The Granta Chorale’s concert ‘Behold that Star!’ on Sunday 4 January proved to be the perfect way to round off the Christmas season. The choir’s programme included Christmas motets by Palestrina and Poulenc as well as the ethereal music of modern composers Morten Lauridsen and Eric Whitacre. Some jolly mediaeval carols and a touch of jazz, together with readings and poems, helped to capture a delightful Twelfth Night feeling. Performing in the candlelit Holy Trinity Church at Chrishill with musical director Janet Wheeler, organist Richard Carr and reader Neil Marshall, the Granta Chorale created an evening to remember.” Location Map Sorry - this event has already taken place.
